Albuquerque’s Angelo Leo’s first defense of his ibf featherweight title is now set for May 24 in Osaka, Japan

Leo (25-1, 12 KOs) will defend against Japan’s Tomoki Kameda (42-4, 23 KOs) , nothing has been formally announced yet.

Top Rank, who is also the proloter for pound for pound fighter Naoya Inoue seems to hope Kameda comes out ahead to set up and all Japan super fight with Kameda and Inoue. Let’s hope Leo can spoil their plans and get the fight with Inoue.
