Stephanie Han destroys opponent in :20, Salinas drops split decision

Unbeaten Stephanie Han made easy work of Nikola Izova, halting Izova in :20 of round one.

Han fighting a left handed fighter for the first time in the pro ranks, landed 3 straight lead right hands to the head of Izova that sent Izova to the ropes, from there Han realized her opponent was in trouble. Han went on the attack and put Izova down for the count.

The #7 wba ranked lightweight, now 6-0. Han will ba back in action April 5th, where she will take one 6-11, Wedellin Cruz in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Han, is in line to possibly fight for a world title in the future. Current champion Katie Taylor may stay at 140, as she is a dual champion at lightweight and Jr welterweight. If Taylor decides to vacate as many expect, the lightweight belts will be vacant, leaving Han as one who may fight for the title.

Las Cruces Amy Salinas dropped a split decision to Alexis Mones. Judge Esther Lopez scored the fight 58-56 for Salinas, while judges James Monroe and Daniel Sandoval scored it 58-56 for Mones.

Salinas falls to 6-5, while Mones raises her record to 3-1-1.

Popular super middleweight Jorge Tovar stayed unbeaten with an 8 round decision over Keithland King. Tovar is now 8-0.

Judges Esther Lopez and James Moreno scored the fight 60-54, while Judge Daniel Sandoval scored it 59-55.

The fight card was promoted by Kings Promotions, who looks to back in El Paso soon for another fight card.
