Aiseah Achesah Balances Technology Career With Boxing Dreams

Aiseah Achesah didn’t come to New Mexico to become a professional boxer.

He came to the Land of Enchantment to work for the state in technology.

At 32 years old, boxing is still a hobby for Achesah, but it has developed into something he wants to explore while he still has the opportunity.

Achesah believes he has roughly a three- to four-year window to find out just how far he can take the sport.

“I want to see how far it will take me in life,” Achesah said.

That opportunity began to take shape after he met former boxer Brandon Holmes while working out at Defined Fitness.

“I met Brandon, we talked boxing. He told me he was a former boxer and introduced me to his dad, Pat Holmes,” Achesah said.

Achesah went to the gym, met Pat Holmes, and has been working with him ever since.

What began as a hobby has now led Achesah to an unbeaten professional record and another opportunity to test himself inside the ring.

Achesah enters his upcoming fight with a 3-0 record, including one knockout, and will face Enoch Adonai.

While his professional life remains centered around his technology career, Achesah is giving himself the next few years to see what boxing might become.

At 32, he knows the clock is ticking.

There is no guarantee where boxing will take him, but that is exactly what Achesah wants to find out.

For now, he is balancing his career, life and boxing while continuing to learn under Pat Holmes.

And what started as a hobby after moving to New Mexico could become something much bigger.
