Aiseah Coleman to fight twice in 21 days

Aiseah Coleman is preparing for a busy stretch that could see the New Mexico fighter step into the ring twice in just 21 days.

Coleman will return to action this coming Saturday when he takes on Bryant McClain. If Coleman comes through that matchup successfully, he is scheduled to return to the ring on October 24 against Manuel Eastman.

The October 24 bout will be a rematch of their meeting last year, when Coleman earned a decision victory over Eastman.

When asked about fighting twice in such a short period, Coleman acknowledged that the schedule is unusual but said his immediate focus is on Saturday night.

“Yeah, it’s kind of unheard of, but honestly, I need to make sure I win this weekend to make sure I am better situated for the 24th, you know,” Coleman said.

First things first, Coleman will have to get past McClain on Saturday. A victory would set the stage for another quick turnaround and another opportunity to face Eastman in a rematch.
