Nez Impressive in win over Gonzalez

Rolyn Nez kept his undefeated record intact with a second-round stoppage against Daniel Gonzalez on Saturday night at The Ohkay Casino in Espanola, NM. Nez, with a record of 6-0, 4 KOs, set the stage for a remarkable victory by delivering right-hand leads and left hooks to Gonzalez's body. Late in the first round, Nez hurt Gonzalez with a left hook followed by a right hand, driving him to the ropes in an attempt to finish the fight. However, Gonzalez managed to endure the onslaught and survive until the bell.
The fight concluded early in the second round when Nez resumed his offensive, delivering precise combinations against the resilient Gonzalez, leading the referee to halt the match at 0:44 of round two.
Looking to be more active Nez stated after the fight he would like ot fight as soon as possible.
"I want to fight soon, I'm ready to go as soon as possible."
He might participate in another Holmes/Sanchez promotion event at Ohkay Casino in April.

In other action
In the women’s bout, Leanna Martinez got back on the winning track, stopping Tarrethaia Dixon at :44 of the second round.
Eduardo Pinon earned a second-round TKO victory over Kendal Moore, stopping the fight at 1:36 of Round 2. Pinon is now 2-0, 2ko's. it looks like Pinon may take on Quinten DeLeon in April as the two were in the ring after the fight, Pinon excepted the
challenge by Deleon.

Haquan Wagner opened the card in emphatic fashion, stopping Rick Ogden via TKO at :38 of Round 2.
Xavier Maestas scored a TKO victory over Jose Vialapando in a bout that proved to be a mismatch. Vialapando, who has been stopped in all of his professional outings, added to his troubles by forgetting his mouthpiece in the locker room prior to the fight.
Jorge Villarreal had little difficulty dispatching Khendal Moore, earning a TKO at :39 of Round 2.
In a cruiserweight contest, Aiseah Achesah defeated Manuel Eastman by unanimous decision. All three judges scored the bout 40–36 in favor of Achesah.
