Rey falls by unanimous decision

Andres Rey lost for the first time in his career, dropping a unanimous decision to Gary Hampton in El Paso. Rey was dropped in round 3 which seemed to be a deciding factor in the fight.

Rey is now 5-1, while Hamilton raises his record to 6-2.

Rey does have a fight scheduled in August again in El Paso.
