The flyweight bout between New Mexico’s Kathrine Lindenmuth and Angelina Lucas has officially been ruled a No Contest following a review by the EPBA. The fight, held in Egypt, was originally announced as a split-decision win for Lindenmuth.

According to information reflected on BoxRec and confirmed by sources close to the situation, the Lucas camp filed accusations that Lindenmuth had taken a banned substance. After an internal review, the EPBA overturned the result pending further investigation.

We are told the inquiry is still active. There are indications Lindenmuth may have undergone additional testing upon returning home, but nothing has been verified publicly. What was originally a split decision—one many observers felt should have been unanimous for Lindenmuth—has now been placed under a cloud of uncertainty.

Lindenmuth has acknowledged the situation on social media, stating that she and her team will hold a press conference soon to address the allegations and provide clarity.

Further updates will follow as more information becomes available.
