Cristian “El Puma” Cabral continues to prove he is one of New Mexico’s most dependable action fighters, staying active and keeping momentum rolling with another solid performance in Albuquerque.

Cabral was back in action on April 4 at The Legacy Continues III, part of the Legacy Promotions card at Embassy Suites in Albuquerque. The event featured eight professional bouts and once again gave local fighters a chance to stay sharp in front of the hometown fans.
For Cabral, the latest outing was another important step forward. Legacy Promotions has helped guide Cabral to thinking promotion wise and keeping him busy.
Now sitting at 11-2-2, Cabral has quietly become one of the area’s busiest pros, consistently taking fights and continuing to sharpen his craft each time out. In a boxing landscape where inactivity can slow progress, Cabral has done the opposite by staying in the gym and staying ready.
That activity is beginning to pay off. Working with trainer Ruben Griego, they look to improve in the gym and continue to be ready.
Each time Cabral steps through the ropes, he looks more comfortable, more poised, and more willing to press the action. His steady schedule has allowed him to keep rhythm, timing, and confidence — all key ingredients for a fighter looking to climb to the next level.
