New Mexico boxing will once again celebrate its rich history and the people who helped build the sport as the New Mexico Boxing Hall of Fame announces its 2026 class of inductees.

This year’s class features eight individuals whose names have become part of the New Mexico boxing story:

Jake Valencia

David Martinez

Monica Lovato

Jose Herrera

Eric Holland

Frankie Montano

Humberto Lucero

Tony Chavez

The Hall of Fame will also present Esther Lopez with the Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing her years of dedication and contributions to New Mexico boxing.

The 2026 class represents the continued tradition of honoring the fighters, coaches, supporters and individuals who have dedicated themselves to the sport and helped keep boxing strong throughout New Mexico.

The inductees will be officially celebrated at the 2026 New Mexico Boxing Hall of Fame Awards Ceremony on November 14 in Roswell, New Mexico.

For the New Mexico boxing community, the Hall of Fame is more than an event — it is a celebration of the people and stories that have helped make boxing an important part of the state’s sporting history.

Congratulations to the 2026 New Mexico Boxing Hall of Fame inductees and Esther Lopez on her Lifetime Achievement Award.
