Perez to fight for interm title

Abraham Perez has been presented with a major opportunity, as Perez is expected to challenge for the Interim WBA Flyweight Championship on June 14, per his father/trainer Aaron Perez

The opportunity marks a significant moment in Perez’s young professional career and could place the New Mexico fighter in position to capture his first world title.

Perez had previously been linked to a bout against reigning flyweight champion Adrian Olascuaga before those plans fell apart after Olascuaga and his team reportedly withdrew from negotiations. Now, a bigger opportunity appears to have surfaced for Perez .
