Ronnie Rentz passes

Sad news to report Albuquerque boxing legend Ronnie Rentz passed away this morning . We were informed by his daughter Melanie Lopez .

Rentz had been battling cancer for years , he had recovered , but it came back recently.

Rentz passed away peacefully in his sleep.

This past September, Rentz was honored with his induction to the New Mexico Boxing Hall of fame.

We would like to send our condolences to the Rentz family.
