Torres has easy time , Chavez wins

– Local fan favorites Josh Torres and Clinton Chavez delivered wins on the Johnny Tapia Memorial Fight Festival card Saturday night at Leo’s Outdoors.

Torres, fighting in the main event, added another victory to his professional record, while Chavez also earned a win in front of the hometown crowd. The event featured several New Mexico prospects and served as one of the featured attractions of the annual Johnny Tapia Memorial festivities.

The victories continue the momentum for both fighters as they look toward bigger opportunities later in 2026.
