Fight of the Year Lewis vs De Leon

Boxingnewmexico.com has awarded the Fight of the Year to the bout between Austin Lewis and Quentin DeLeon this December. This match was featured in the Legacy Promotions event. The two faced off, neither taking a step back. Round one saw DeLeon suffer a cut from a possible clash of heads. The blood was not in his eyesight but was definitely noticeable. Referee Rocky Burke halted the action to have the ring doctor take a look at the cut. After several minutes, the fight was allowed to continue. Lewis and DeLeon went back and forth in the four-rounder won by Lewis. Lewis himself started to show his battle wounds as his left eye was swelling, and he also suffered cuts on his face.

The two showed guts and courage in not letting blood and swelling on their faces stop them from showing true warriors' hearts.

Legacy Promotions did a great job in matching these two. As fans, we'd like to see it again. Thank you both for your determination and no quit.
