Knockout of the Year Eduardo Pinon

Making his professional debut, many up in northern New Mexico were letting me know of this up-and-comer, Eduardo Piñon.

Piñon made a splash this past November, stopping Jose Vialpando with a devastating left hook to the body that ended the night early.

Having only five amateur fights under his belt, Pinon looked like a seasoned fighter with his precision and patience in the ring. The end of the fight came at the 1:41 mark of the first round.

In a year where there weren't many knockouts in New Mexico that stood out, Eduardo Pinon's knockout was the one that caught our eye.

Pinon will return January 31st, at the Ohkay Casino
