Leo fight cancelled

Angelo Leo’s IBF featherweight title defense against Ra’eese Aleem has been canceled after Aleem badly missed weight at Friday’s weigh-in. Reports say Aleem came in 2.8 pounds over the 126-pound limit and could not make weight on a second attempt.

According to ESPN, Leo will still receive his full purse because he made weight under Georgia commission rules. The rest of the card is still expected to go on, with Atif Oberlton vs. Carlos Gongora moved into the main event spot.
