Mendoza falls in Vegas

Yoenis Téllez delivered a composed and effective performance, earning a clear decision victory over New mexico’s Brian Mendoza with scores of 98–92 and 97–93. Téllez controlled the tempo, landed the cleaner shots, and stayed disciplined throughout, neutralizing Mendoza’s power and rally attempts. Mendoza showed toughness and moments of pressure, but it wasn’t enough to sway the judges against Téllez’s consistency and ring control.
