Legacy Promotions returns to the Embassy Suites on Saturday, April 4, bringing with it one of the most anticipated local cards of the spring, as “The Legacy Continues III” features rising title contender Abraham Perez in the main event and Albuquerque veteran Josh “Pitbull” Torres in the co-main event.

Perez (13-0) steps into the spotlight in the 10-round main event against Mexico’s Esneth Domingo (22-4) with the vacant IBF Inter-Continental flyweight title on the line. For Perez, this is more than another hometown headliner — it is the kind of fight that can elevate him into the international conversation at 112 pounds. A win in front of his Albuquerque supporters would be another major step toward bigger opportunities later this year.

The co-main event belongs to Josh “Pitbull” Torres, whose return to the ring has already created plenty of buzz among local fight fans. Torres (28-7-2) meets Gerardo Alberto Fuentes in a scheduled six-round super welterweight contest, a matchup that should bring immediate action and emotion to the Embassy Suites crowd.

Torres has long been one of Albuquerque’s most respected action fighters, known for his relentless pressure and fan-friendly style. Every time “Pitbull” fights, the energy in the building changes, and Saturday’s co-feature feels like another chance for the veteran to remind everyone why he remains one of the city’s most popular draws.

The supporting card is stacked with more New Mexico talent, including Cristian Cabral against Eduardo Monrreal, while unbeaten Angelo Valencia faces Andres Rey in one of the night’s most intriguing prospect matchups.

Additional bouts include:

  • Codi Chavez vs. Isaiah Aguilar

  • Elija Martinez vs. Bryant McClain

  • German Orpineda Ponce vs. Maximus Moya

  • Marcelino Delgado vs. Eric Thompson

With championship stakes in the main event and a proven hometown warrior in the co-main, Legacy Promotions has once again assembled a card that showcases the depth of boxing talent in New Mexico.

Doors open at 6 p.m. with first bell at 7 p.m. at Embassy Suites in Albuquerque.
